Paracord Black 4mm x 40m

Paracord 4mm x 40m is a strong and lightweight elastic line made with a polyamide core and a polyester multifilament outer layer. The name Paracord comes from American parachutists and the lines that hold the parachute. These lines were used by parachutists and other military personnel for general tasks and were favored for their strength and flexibility. Paracord is also known as 550 cord or parachute cord. Originally, the line was supposed to have polyamide in both the core and the outer layer.

Black Paracord is a 4mm rope/string with excellent abrasion resistance, flexibility and pliability. Paracord (also 550 cord or parachute cord) is popular for tying bracelets, outdoor ropes, lashings, repairs, knotting and various general outdoor activities. Our paracord features 7 parallel polyamide strands in the core and a tightly braided polyester multifilament outer layer. The paracord has some stretch while remaining strong, UV and water-resistant and abrasion-resistant. 4 mm diameter, 40 meters per spool.

The tightly braided outer layer makes the paracord very smooth, pliable and easy to handle. The line has excellent resistance to abrasion, UV light, tension, water and chemicals.
