Paracord Navy Blue 4mm x 40m

Paracord Navy Blue 4mm x 40m is a strong and lightweight elastic cord made of polyamide in the core and polyester multifilament in the outer sheath. The name Paracord comes from American parachutists and the lines that hold the parachute. These lines were used by parachutists and other military personnel for general tasks and were favored for their strength and flexibility. Paracord is also called 550 cord or parachute cord. Originally, the cord was supposed to have polyamide in both the core and the outer sheath.

Paracord Marine Blue is a 4mm rope/string with very good abrasion resistance, flexibility and elasticity. Paracord (also 550 cord or parachute cord) is popular for tying bracelets, outdoor ropes, lashings, repairs, tying knots and various general outdoor activities. Our paracord has 7 parallel polyamide strands in the core and a tightly braided outer sheath of polyester multifilament. The rope has some stretch while being strong, UV-resistant, water-resistant and abrasion-resistant. 4 mm diameter, 40 meters per spool.

The tightly braided outer sheath makes the paracord very flexible, manageable and easy to handle. The cord has excellent resistance to abrasion, UV light, tension, water and chemicals.
