Paracord Red 4mm x 40m

Paracord Red 4mm x 40m is a strong and lightweight elastic cord made with polyamide in the core and a polyester multifilament outer layer. The name Paracord comes from American parachutists and the cords that hold the parachute. These cords were used by parachutists and other military personnel for general work and were favored for their strength and flexibility. Paracord is also known as 550 cord or parachute cord. Originally, the cord was supposed to have polyamide in both the core and outer layer.

Red paracord is a 4mm rope/string with excellent abrasion resistance, flexibility and pliability. Paracord (also 550 cord or parachute cord) is popular for making bracelets, outdoor ropes, lashings, repairs, tying knots and various general outdoor activities. Our paracord has 7 parallel polyamide strands in the core and a tightly braided outer layer of polyester multifilament. The rope has some elasticity while still being strong, UV and water resistant and abrasion resistant. 4 mm diameter, 40 meters per spool.
