Paracord

Paracord or Parachute Cord

Paracord features a core of parallel polyamide strands and an outer sheath made of polyester multifilament. The original version has a polyamide multifilament sheath, but due to the excellent weather resistance of polyester multifilament, it is an optimal alternative. Paracord is available in various colors and is used across multiple applications. It is suitable as a rope for tents and tarps, scouting activities, knots, bracelets, tie-downs, fishing line and bushcraft. The cord is not buoyant in water and has excellent resistance to saltwater, chemicals, UV light and abrasion.
