Paracord

Paracord or Parachute Cord

Paracord features a core of parallel polyamide strands encased in a sheath of polyester twine. While the original version has a polyamide sheath, the excellent weather resistance of polyester makes it an optimal alternative. Paracord is available in various colors and is suitable for multiple applications. It is ideal for use as rope for tents and tarps, scouting activities, tying knots, bracelets, securing loads, fishing line and bushcraft. The cord does not float in water and offers excellent resistance to saltwater, chemicals, UV rays and abrasion.
