Hemp twine has a wide range of applications in crafts, maritime activities and hobbies. The products are made from fibers of the Cannabis sativa plant. Historically, hemp has been the dominant material for producing twine and twines and remains popular for many uses today. Its resistance to rot and UV light is limited, making hemp unsuitable for more demanding outdoor applications unless it has been tarred first. Hemp twine are very pleasant to handle and have a lovely scent.

Hemp Twine Extra Prima is a double-twisted twine made from the finest hemp fibers. The twine is polished, giving it a beautiful shiny surface. It is the strongest of our hemp twine and is used for hanging, tying plants, knots, macramé, upholstery, marine work, decorations and much more. The twine is available in several different dimensions.

Single-Twisted Hemp Twine is a thinner twine made from slightly coarser fibers compared to Extra Prima and is not as tightly twisted. This single-twisted twine is used for packaging, plant tying, sewing and crafts. It is easy to handle and has a matte finish.

Tarred Hemp Twine Extra Prima is of the same high quality as the natural hemp twine Extra Prima, but it is treated with wood tar. The tar provides the twine with better resistance to rot and UV light. Tarred twines are traditionally used for marine work, knotting and tying but are also popular for macramé, decorations, napkin rings, invitations, gardening and various maritime purposes.

Colored Hemp Twine comes in several different colors and consists of thin, single-twisted twines made from 100% hemp. The ropes are approximately 1mm thick and are used for tying, crafts, jewelry, packaging and sewing.
