MX Ultra Racing Black

MX Ultra Racing is a black rope with white marker threads. The rope is designed for sailors who demand high durability and functionality. MX Ultra Racing features a triple-braided construction with multifilament in the outer cover, polyester filler in the middle and a core made of 100% pure HMPE. This construction provides a line that is very stable in shape and easily passes through blocks, has a very low weight relative to its strength, minimal elongation, very high break strength, is flexible, kink-free and easy to handle.

MX Ultra Racing has an outer cover made of tightly braided polyester, which offers excellent resistance to abrasion, saltwater, moisture, UV light and chemicals. It is designed for use in running rigging but also works exceptionally well as a tow line in industrial applications, for climbing, as a hoisting line, in halters, scaffolding, arborists and much more.

HMPE (High Modulus Polyethylene) is the material used in Dyneema, Spectra, Dynatech and several other brands. HMPE is one of the strongest thermoplastics and is known for its high break strength, low weight and minimal elongation. HMPE is stronger and seven times lighter than steel wire. The strength of HMPE allows for reduced dimensions while achieving a stronger rope compared to conventional ropes. Additionally, HMPE exhibits minimal elongation, making it ideal for applications involving winching and for replacing parts of, for example, standing rigging where wire is typically used.

How to order? Rope is sold either by the meter, spool, coil or box, depending on the available options under variants. For example, if you purchase 10 m x 4 pcs, you will receive 4 separate ropes, each with a length of 10 meters. The rope is measured automatically and a margin of error of ±10% should be expected. For example, if you need 50 meters of rope, it is recommended to order 55 meters to ensure you receive the correct length.

Right of withdrawal - under the Consumer Rights Directive, private consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the date of purchase. By purchasing rope by the meter, you agree to have the rope specially cut for you, meaning the right of withdrawal no longer applies.
