Jute Rope 3-strand

Jute rope made from 100% jute fibre. The rope is 3-strand twisted and is available in diameters of 6 mm, 8 mm, 10 mm and 12 mm, sold by the metre or as a full spool (wound onto a reel with flanges) or coil (round-wound bundle without flanges) of 220 metres.

Jute is 100% biodegradable and is therefore commonly used for tying up plants and in planting applications. It is not resistant to rot and is therefore not suitable for outdoor projects requiring high abrasion resistance.

Jute fibre has a coarse structure that is difficult to spin. Spinning oil is used during production, giving the jute rope its characteristic smell.

Our jute rope has a breaking load ranging from 200 kp to 800 kp, depending on the diameter. Compared with hemp rope, it is stiffer and harder.

How to Order? Rope is sold either by the meter, spool, coil or box, depending on the available options under variants. For example, if you purchase 10 m x 4 pcs, you will receive 4 separate ropes, each with a length of 10 meters. The rope is measured automatically and a margin of error of ±10% should be expected. For example, if you need 50 meters of rope, it is recommended to order 55 meters to ensure you receive the correct length.

Right of Withdrawal - under the Consumer Rights Directive, private consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the date of purchase. By purchasing rope by the meter, you agree to have the rope specially cut for you, meaning the right of withdrawal no longer applies.
