Hemp rope

Hemp rope made from 100% high-quality hemp yarn. Hemp rope is the most eco-friendly and comfortable to work with, both for the environment and your hands. It has been used for generations for various purposes and while synthetic ropes have taken over, hemp rope is still primarily used for rope railings, rope fences, hoist lines in theater, decoration and more.

When used outdoors, hemp rope will rot after a few years, which is why many opt for Hampex, a synthetic hemp imitation. However, natural hemp has a texture, scent and tradition that is hard to match. In addition to being made from 100% natural materials, it is very pleasant to handle and has a lovely natural luster.

Hemp rope is often used for decorations, hoist lines in theater, furniture upholstery, various marine applications and as a stair railing rope. Repbutiken offers Sweden's widest range of rope fittings. Use 38 mm fittings for 35 mm hemp and 26 mm fittings for 25 mm rope. The rope does not float. Elongation at break is approximately 15%.

How to order? Rope is sold either by the meter, spool, coil or box, depending on the available options under variants. For example, if you purchase 10 m x 4 pcs, you will receive 4 separate ropes, each with a length of 10 meters. The rope is measured automatically and a margin of error of ±10% should be expected. For example, if you need 50 meters of rope, it is recommended to order 55 meters to ensure you receive the correct length.

Right of withdrawal - under the Consumer Rights Directive, private consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the date of purchase. By purchasing rope by the meter, you agree to have the rope specially cut for you, meaning the right of withdrawal no longer applies.
