Tarred hemp rope made from 100% spun hemp yarn treated with pine tar. The tar acts as a protective layer, enhancing the rope's resistance to UV light, moisture and saltwater. Modern synthetic materials have replaced the need for tarred hemp rope, which is now primarily used for decorations and nautical work.
This is a 3-strand rope with approximately 15% elongation at break.
How to order? Rope is sold either by the meter, spool, coil or box, depending on the available options under variants. For example, if you purchase 10 m x 4 pcs, you will receive 4 separate ropes, each with a length of 10 meters. The rope is measured automatically and a margin of error of ±10% should be expected. For example, if you need 50 meters of rope, it is recommended to order 55 meters to ensure you receive the correct length.
Right of withdrawal - under the Consumer Rights Directive, private consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the date of purchase. By purchasing rope by the meter, you agree to have the rope specially cut for you, meaning the right of withdrawal no longer applies.
