Metal mooring spring is used for dock mooring of leisure vessels and motorboats. The metal spring provides excellent shock absorption and durability, making it suitable for exposed areas. It has better durability and a longer lifespan compared to rubber springs. The ferro-zinc coated metal offers good resistance to corrosion.
The mooring spring is attached to the dock with a shackle at one end. At the other end, a shackle is typically used to secure the mooring line. The shackle allows for easy attachment and detachment of a mooring line with a thimble. Alternatively, a mooring line can be directly attached to the spring with a hook.
Applications:
- Permanent mooring for leisure boats
- Enhances shock absorption capabilities
