Product Description:

Stainless Steel Wire Rope Clips are used to clamp wires or ropes. They are ideal where splicing a loop or ferrule is not possible or desired. Perfect for mooring lines, rigging, swings, climbing ropes, rope railings and rope constructions such as rope bridges and nets, as well as for scaffolding in heavy lifting applications. In applications like lifting, it is often recommended to use two clips per loop to ensure durability even if one clip rusts or loosens.

The clamp lock consists of a ring with two threaded bolts, nuts and a lock housing. The rope passes through the wire rope clip twice, forming a loop at the other end. The loop is secured by tightening the lock housing with the nuts, which clamps the rope tightly and creates a very strong lock. It is important that there is enough rope in the ring to clamp effectively. A clip with a 16mm width can often be used for slightly thicker ropes (e.g., 18mm) by pressing the rope into the loop before tightening.

Examples of Applications:

Replaces spliced loops in various areas
For ropes and wires
Dock mooring
Loop for scaffolding and industrial heavy lifting
Replaces splicing in various rope constructions such as rope fences, enclosures, climbing ropes, swings, vines, etc.
