Anchor line Multiplait with pre-spliced polyamide eye. The anchor line offers excellent resistance to abrasion, moisture, UV light and tension. With an elongation before breaking of approximately 20%, it is suitable for anchoring and mooring where some flexibility is desired to avoid breakage. By purchasing an anchor line with a pre-spliced eye, you ensure a durable and secure construction.

The anchor line with pre-spliced polyamide eye is used for anchoring as well as for towing by scaffolders and in construction. The pre-spliced construction combined with the strong polyester multifilament provides a safe working environment.

For anchoring, it is advisable to use both chain and rope. The chain should be attached to the anchor and the rope line. If using only rope, wear and tear is higher as it rubs against the seabed, whereas chain withstands abrasion much better, which is why it is preferred for the last segment of the anchor line. The chain is also heavier than the rope, which helps the anchor line lie on the seabed and keeps pulls and jerks horizontal, reducing the risk of the anchor dragging.

How to order? When purchasing by coil/spool or meter, the rope is wound up mechanically and you should account for a margin of error of ±10%. If you need 40 meters of rope, it is advisable to order 44 meters to ensure the correct length.
