Paracord Olive Green/Beige 4mm x 40m

Paracord Olive Green/Beige 4mm x 40m is a strong and lightweight elastic line made of polyamide in the core and multifilament polyester in the outer sheath. The name Paracord comes from American parachutists and the lines that hold the parachute. These lines were used by parachutists and other military personnel for general tasks and were appreciated for their strength and flexibility. Paracord is also known as 550 cord or parachute cord. Originally, the line was supposed to have polyamide in the core and outer sheath.

Olive Green/Beige Paracord is a 4mm rope/string with very good abrasion resistance, flexibility and adaptability. Paracord (also known as 550 cord or parachute cord) is popular for making bracelets, outdoor ropes, lashings, repairs, tying knots and various general outdoor activities. Our paracord has 7 parallel polyamide strands in the core and a tightly woven outer sheath of multifilament polyester. The rope has some stretch while being strong, UV-resistant, water-resistant and abrasion-resistant. 4 mm diameter, 40 meters per spool.

Our Paracord features 7 parallel polyamide strands in the core and a braided polyester sheath. The polyamide material is very strong and has some stretch, as one does not want a rope that is too stiff. The tightly braided outer sheath makes the paracord line very supple, flexible and easy to handle. The string has excellent resistance to abrasion, UV light, tensile forces, water and chemicals.
