Örnbojen

The Örnbojen is an innovative mooring buoy with a hollow tube and a construction featuring a robust outer shell made of impact-resistant polyethylene plastic, providing it with exceptional durability against collisions and damage. The shell is filled with polystyrene foam, a recyclable cellular plastic quality that offers excellent buoyancy while being free from freon. The buoy is designed to maintain its full buoyancy even if the outer shell is damaged. Its polyethylene material is both environmentally friendly and recyclable and it has proven to be durable and reliable in marine environments over time.

For easy adjustment of chain length, the Örnbojen is equipped with a hot-dip galvanized tube with a fitting. This design facilitates the mooring process, whether using chain or rope. The mooring can smoothly pass through the hot-dip galvanized tube up to the fitting, helping to streamline deployment and any adjustments.

The hollow tube allows the buoy to be moored from the top of the tube down to the anchor stone or P-ring. This also enables the boat to be moored at the top of the tube, which facilitates docking and deployment from the pier.
