Acera Amundsen Grey 12-Plait HMPE Rope

Acera Amundsen is a high-performance rope made of gray HMPE. The HMPE fiber (high-modulus polyethylene) is individually treated to achieve maximum strength, durability and UV resistance. This rope can replace steel wire in most applications. Acera Amundsen is seven times lighter than wire and has a breaking strength that is 70% higher. The rope is used for halyards, sheets, towing lines, mooring lines and more.

The rope is 12-strand braided and made from HMPE fiber treated for maximum durability and strength. Acera Amundsen has minimal elongation (breaking elongation approx. 2-3%), withstands temperatures up to 145°C and offers excellent resistance to UV light, abrasion, acids, alkalis, cold and most chemicals. The rope is easy to splice and, despite its stiffness, is easy to handle. It is buoyant in water.

How to order? Rope is sold either by the meter, spool, coil or box, depending on the available options under variants. For example, if you purchase 10 m x 4 pcs, you will receive 4 separate ropes, each with a length of 10 meters. The rope is measured automatically and a margin of error of ±10% should be expected. For example, if you need 50 meters of rope, it is recommended to order 55 meters to ensure you receive the correct length.

Right of withdrawal - under the Consumer Rights Directive, private consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the date of purchase. By purchasing rope by the meter, you agree to have the rope specially cut for you, meaning the right of withdrawal no longer applies.
