Braided Hampex

Braided Hampex is a flexible and pliable rope designed to mimic natural hemp. It is suitable for applications where natural hemp would be too costly or where higher breaking strength, less stretching and better resistance to water, moisture and UV light are required. Hampex can be used for both indoor and outdoor applications. The braided construction makes the rope smooth and flexible, with less stretching compared to twisted rope.

Hampex is commonly used in furniture production, decorations, trim, ropes for smaller wooden boats and traditional ships, dog leashes, tracking lines, lifting systems and more. Made from spun polypropylene, the rope floats in water.

How to order? Rope is sold either by the meter, spool, coil or box, depending on the available options under variants. For example, if you purchase 10 m x 4 pcs, you will receive 4 separate ropes, each with a length of 10 meters. The rope is measured automatically and a margin of error of ±10% should be expected. For example, if you need 50 meters of rope, it is recommended to order 55 meters to ensure you receive the correct length.

Right of withdrawal - under the Consumer Rights Directive, private consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the date of purchase. By purchasing rope by the meter, you agree to have the rope specially cut for you, meaning the right of withdrawal no longer applies.
