Paracord Olive Green/Dark Green 4mm x 40m

Paracord Olive Green/Dark Green 4mm x 40m is a strong and lightweight elastic line made with polyamide in the core and multifilament in the outer layer. The name Paracord comes from American parachutists and the lines that hold the parachute. These lines were used by parachutists and other military personnel for general tasks and were appreciated for their strength and flexibility. Paracord is also known as 550 cord or parachute line. Originally, the line was supposed to have polyamide in the core and outer layer.

Our Paracord has 7 parallel polyamide strands in the core and a braided multifilament outer layer. The polyamide material is very strong and has some stretch, as a rigid rope is not desired. The tightly braided outer layer makes the paracord line very smooth, flexible and easy to handle. The rope has excellent resistance to abrasion, UV light, tension, water and chemicals.
